Welcome. We’re pleased you’ve found us. We are the Buckinghamshire chapter of the Change Management Institute.
We are a cutting-edge group of change management professionals leading and supporting local practitioners. Our focus is to elevate our industry practices and ensure that all visitors and members are inspired to take their skills to the next level. It’s our desire to inspire excellence and ensure that you have the means to reach your career goals. So regardless of whether you are after new thinking, a mentor, or looking to have your practices independently assessed and endorsed, we are here to help you.
Our members are professionals from government agencies, corporations, not-for-profit groups and professional consultancies. Members may be at different stages of their professional careers, so we mutually support one another to meet common goals.
By joining you get to engage with us locally at events, build your networks and access the global thinking and white papers available exclusively to members. There are plenty of learning and development opportunities available for all learning styles too!
A bit more about us
Our members shape the chapter agenda and suggest relevant topics for future sessions. Some of the themes we are working on include; recipes for success, organisations who deliver successful change, how to adapt to deliver change in an agile world, leading transformational change, the art of building the guiding coalition and how to effectively assess and evaluate the hard and soft benefits of change.

Chapter leadership
Maggie Lewis, Chapter Co-lead
Maggie is a PMP and Agile Practioner who joined CMI in 2015 and was part of the founding committee to establish the Buckinghamshire Chapter. Re-energised with the drive and commitment to support the promotion of best practice across industries, she is keen to help others do the same by organising formal and informal events creating a regular network for change professionals and like-minded individuals to share ideas, learn from each other and increase the profile of the change management profession.
Always passionate about change she is keen to advocate the strengthening of the need to recognise people and promote best practice across industries to ensure overall success. Whilst not managing change, Maggie enjoys watching Rugby and supports England (unless it’s Ireland).
