A bit more about us

Our members shape the chapter agenda and suggest relevant topics for future sessions. Some of the themes we are working on include; recipes for success, organisations who deliver successful change, how to adapt to deliver change in an agile world, leading transformational change, the art of building the guiding coalition and how to effectively assess and evaluate the hard and soft benefits of change.

Chapter leadership

Michael Mactavish, Chapter Co-lea

Mike’s experience in Change and Transformation has been gained within the Financial Services and Real Estate sectors over the past decade. His always enjoys working on complex transformation projects where successful Change activity drives adoption and benefits realisation.

While one of his personal interests is neuroscience and how that drives behavioural change, although he considers himself very much a novice in this area. Mike joined the Buckingham Chapter early in 2019 and is motivated to build a rich network that is enhanced through the arrangement of engaging events. He wants to enable the sharing of ideas and practices within the chapter, driving our capability and recognition within the industry.

Roger Lewis, Chapter Co-lead

Roger is an APMG Certified Change Management Practitioner and our newest co-lead of the Bucks Chapter of the UK's Change Management Institute. In working life, Roger runs FUSE, a consultancy practice supporting organisational change and process improvement, frequently as part of post merger & acquisition activity.

After a 25 year career in the international insurance industry, Roger has a business network covering the UK's Northern Home Counties, City of London, as well as Continental Europe and the Far East. When he is not facilitating business change, Roger is likely to be found coaching junior cricket across the County of Bedfordshire.

Maggie Lewis, Chapter Co-lead

Maggie is a PMP and Agile Practioner who joined CMI in 2015 and was part of the founding committee to establish the Buckinghamshire Chapter. Re-energised with the drive and commitment to support the promotion of best practice across industries, she is keen to help others do the same by organising formal and informal events creating a regular network for change professionals and like-minded individuals to share ideas, learn from each other and increase the profile of the change management profession.

Always passionate about change she is keen to advocate the strengthening of the need to recognise people and promote best practice across industries to ensure overall success. Whilst not managing change, Maggie enjoys watching Rugby and supports England (unless it’s Ireland).
