What is a change heat map? What are some lessons learned regarding creating and deploying one?
Lisa McRoberts will be this month’s guest co-facilitator. She will discuss the change heat map developed at her organization, Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina (BCBSNC). They developed the heat map to help identify key business areas experiencing significant change impacts during the course of the year. The goal was to proactively launch change management teams and activities to support employees. Yet, the heat map journey is a cautionary tale for enterprises struggling with silos, change management maturity, and leadership transparency. Come to our change chat to hear lessons learned and see a brief demo of the tool.
Lisa has worked at BCBSNC since 2013. For the last ten years her work has been program development and major change implementations in multiple business settings (e.g., pharma, academia, finance, and healthcare). She is an industrial/social scientist with expertise in systems theory, strategy, communications, and change management. She has two advanced degrees in Organizational Management and is a CMI USA member.
Join us on April 4th to learn from your fellow change practitioners and share your ideas, experiences, and questions so that they can learn from you!
