Change Chat: Resistance to Change and Mitigation Strategies (New York virtual event)
Event time is 12pm EDT, 5pm BST
In his article entitled “Managing Resistance to Change” Ken Hultman, Ed.D., LCPC, highlights resistance as the primary reasons many change initiatives fail.
As Change practitioners, our role is to aid organisations in achieving successful change. One core competency for practitioners is the ability to proactively diagnose potential areas of resistance and to propose and deliver mitigation strategies.
In this virtual Change Chat, we’ll discuss the likely causes for resistance to change and participants will discuss relevant experiences, frameworks, and strategies. Participants are encouraged to come to the “chat” prepared to discuss the topic and share experiences and best practices.
Our chat will be a highly collaborative experience where you’ll get the chance to meet and interact with peers, and collectively discuss best practices in resistance management. It is collaboration at its finest and we are looking forward to deeper connections with all of you who can join.
This Change Chat will be led by New York chapter committee members, Oliver Schneidemann and Liana Williamson.
Join us! We look forward to seeing you there!
