Change Management Institute launches in Cardiff (South West, UK)
Join us for our first event in Cardiff, where all of us interested in the effective management of organisational change will have a chance to network with our peers.
We are delighted to be hosted by the Principality Building Society, Alex Aviles, Head of Business Change Delivery will open the event by giving us a summary of what Principality are doing to build their capability in change management.
This is followed by a presentation by Melanie Franklin, Co-Chair, Change Management Institute UK on the key trends she is seeing in the development of change management as a profession. She will be sharing examples of what organisations are doing to build their capability for change.
There will be a chance to have your say, as we will be asking you to share what you think the most pressing issues are for those working in change management and what challenges are coming up in the next 12 months.
About our Speakers
Alex joined the Principality in February 2018 as Head of Business Change Delivery and is responsible for the Principality’s change agenda which includes Regulatory / Mandatory changes, Discretionary Growth initiatives and a 3 year Savings & Mortgages transformation programme.
Alex also has departmental responsibility for the Business Change Delivery function, which is a team of over 60+ employees including Programme & Project Managers, Business, Test & PMO Analysts.
Alex has 20+ years' experience of Change Management within Financial Services, predominantly within Lloyds Banking Group where he was the Head of IT Programmes within a division of Lloyds Banking Group.
Melanie Franklin - International Speaker, Author and Consultant
Melanie provides c-suite advisory services, specialising in organisational transformation. This includes building the capability for change and assuring the structure and progress of large-scale transformations. She is the Co-Chair of the Change Management Institute UK and is a respected author of text books and articles on change, project and programme management. She works for organisations around the world including financial services, utilities, Governments and NGOs.
Melanie is a talented communicator and has a reputation for delivering complex information with humour and passion. She draws on her wealth of practical experience to illustrate concepts and to engage her audience in lively debates on advantages and disadvantages of each approach that she outlines.
