Change Sponsorship – how do we set our sponsors up for success? (Auckland, NZ)
Sponsorship has been shown to be a key factor in project success, but do we clearly articulate the role and align expectations when we ask someone to sponsor a change?
Fonterra Co-operative Group is pleased to host a session exploring the important topic of change sponsorship – what good looks like, why the role is important, and how we set our change sponsors up for success.

Vijay Reddy is the GM Global Process in the Global Supply Chain business unit of Fonterra. He has a number of years of professional experience spanning consulting, operational leadership and programme / project management and sponsorship. He currently leads the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of supply chain business processes and technology within Fonterra's Global Operations Group.
Sharne Usherwood is a Management Consulting Director at KPMG and leads the Customer and Operations Practice. She has a background in Management Consulting and Supply Chain Leadership roles in both New Zealand and Australia and has been responsible for leading and sponsoring change initiatives in a number of industries including FMCG, Retail, Agri-business, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing.
Andrew Steele has worked at an executive level for many years leading large and diverse teams in Australasia and globally. Andrew has led significant teams in the Human Resources, Health and Safety, Property, Internal Communications, and IT/Digital areas, and has managed and sponsored large & complex projects which have had enterprise-wide change & business implications.
It will be followed by a practical activity focusing on how change managers can support sponsors’ success.
