- Introducing the concept of emotion and how it has been operationalized at individual and collective levels of socio-economic systems
- Presenting the added value of the Dynamic Systems Maturity Theory
- Understanding the emotional intelligence of the Change Agent
- Going though case studies that compare emotional maturity vs. culture as a collective emotional intelligence
- Reviewing the concept of Emotional Dynamics of organizations and change processes, and how that is related to failure rates
After this webinar, participants will have a new understanding of emotion and a better basis for harnessing something that is proven to be problematic in Change Management.

About our speaker
December’s Change Chat facilitator is Dr. Myles Sweeney. Dr. Sweeney has a primary degree in Psychology, Masters in Finance, and Ph.D. in Business/Economic Psychology. He worked for 10 years in Banking and 10 years in Lecturing across Psychology and Management which diversified into 30 years of Organization-Development and Change Management (OD/CM) practice across all sectors and sizes of organization.
Supported by Funding from Enterprise Ireland and through academic review by Dublin City University, he developed and brought to operationalization his Dynamic Systems Maturity Theory which provides a normative diagnostic and developmental framework for people, organizations and economies as micro-, meso- and macro levels of socio-economic system. The reviewed seminal material is currently in preparation for publication, and the online operationalised applications for OD/CM are commercialised through the Organization Development Tools Institute with Founder Partner Declan Kavanagh.
