About our Speaker
Dr Dan Radecki is Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at The Academy of Brain-based Leadership (ABL). He also serves as Executive Director of CNS Research and Development at AbbVie Inc and holds a Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Biopsychology and PhD in Neuroscience.
With this unique perspective from roles in both the leadership and neuroscientific world, in 2009 Dan created the content for the educational arm of the NeuroLeadership Institute and served as the lead professor and advisor for the Master of Science program in the Neuroscience of Leadership. This was the first university-accredited program ever developed to incorporate cutting edge neuroscience research into an optimal model of leadership. In the following 7 years, Dan taught hundreds of leaders in 40 countries on the neuroscientific underpinnings of effective leadership.
Dan co-authored the book "Psychological Safety: The key to happy, high-performing people and teams". He has been guest editor on a special issue for the Journal of Consulting Psychology, written numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles, been published in the Harvard Business Review. Dan delivered a TEDx keynote and is an internationally sought after keynote and deliverer on topics such as psychological safety, the neuroscience of diversity & inclusion, the nonconscious drivers of behaviour and bias, the neuroscience of managing stress and building resilience, the neuroscience of behaviour change and habit building, creativity, leadership wisdom, the ageing brain and the biology of collaboration.
