The Inland Revenue Transformation Journey (Auckland, NZ)
How do you achieve a significant people change over more than 5 years and still deliver expected outcomes?
When it comes to impact, there are few businesses that touch nearly every New Zealander, so transforming the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) to be more agile, customer-centric and digital is a mammoth change initiative.
The recent shift to their new platform was seen as a highly successful change programme and was one of the largest projects undertaken.
IR’s Business Transformation is unusual in that people, process, policy and platform are all in play at the same time - it is a true fundamental transformation. Mike Cunnington will talk about the “softer” change journey which sits alongside the process and platform change.
