People Resilience During Change - how to turn adversity into advantage (North West, UK)
With all the current buzz around ‘resilience’, this event will deconstruct what personal and organisational resilience means in the context of change. How do we know if we are resilient? How can we develop it? And how can we develop our ability to bounce back from failure and turn adversity into advantage when leading complex change?
This interactive session will be split across two themes. To kick off, we will explore the intrinsic connections between the wellbeing and personal resilience of an organisation’s workforce and its ability to adapt, survive and thrive when managing both change programmes and unexpected change events. We will look at recent examples where the personal resilience of Business Leaders, Change Managers and Transformation Team members have made the difference.
Secondly, we will look at resilience during change programmes through the lens of senior leaders - be it a Business Change leader, Sponsor or stakeholder. We will discuss the questions to ask and the actions you can take, to lead people through change and develop a more resilient organisation for future change programmes.
Ideal session for managers and leaders in organisations who are looking for practical strategies and tools to harness the optimum wellbeing and performance of their people when delivering successful change.
About Our Speakers
Dr Aarti Anhal is a resilience coach, consultant and mentor. Having worked as a Partner, COO and management consultant in the fields of risk and resilience since 2001, she has had the pleasure of helping businesses across the retail, financial services, aviation and rail sectors to develop their people so that they can mitigate the challenges they face – and recognise the opportunities available to them - in achieving operational, commercial and strategic success. She now runs ‘before nine’, a consultancy on a mission to redefine resilience, by putting people first.
