Seasons of Change (Midlands, UK)
Seasons of change!
The Midlands Chapter are excited to kick off 2018 with our first event "Seasons of Change", at the ICC in the heart of Birmingham. This will be presented by Peter Lawrence, an Independent Management Consultant and supported by Gillian Perry, CMI's Country Co-Lead. Our two speakers event will focus on organisational design & change and also some recent updates on changes taking place within the CMI itself and insights into capability.
In this session Peter will provide insights, to help attendees challenge the traditional linear change approaches and provide fresh insights on emergent versus linear change.
Peter has extensive experience of Organisational design and change which he uses to present alternative approaches to deliver organisational change which is sustainable whilst allowing the change programme deal itself with change. By considering how organisations can release "trapped potential” by applying a "sequential framework" and consider how is this applied within todays complex VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world we hope to show case the power of emergent change in realising change visions and ultimately changing the fabric of an organisation to deliver long term business value.
To show case the techniques the second part of the evening welcomes Gill , UK Co Lead of CMI and will share with the audience the recent changes within the CMI itself and we how managed our own transition amid a rapidly widening acknowledgement of Change Management both by industry and professional bodies, creating opportunity and challenges.
