Seasons of Change (Midlands, UK)
Seasons of change!
Join us at the Midlands Chapters’ first event of the new year, where we make a return to our hosts the NEC group, with our event on "Seasons of Change" at the International Convention Centre in the heart of Birmingham. Our two speakers event will focus on organisational design & change and also some recent updates on changes taking place within the CMI itself and insights into capability.
Our first session of the evening will be presented by Peter Lawrence, who is an independent management consultant. Peter has extensive experience of Organisational design and change. He will present alternative approaches to delivering organisational change. He now works with clients to build capability using an Organisational Development approach, with an emphasis on how we can deliver effective Organisation Design, delivering successful strategic outcomes. Peter will provide insights, to help attendees gain thought provoking approaches to change considering how organisations can “Release trapped potential”, “applying a sequential framework” and consider how is this applied within todays complex world and the challenges of the management of chaos and complexity. He will also challenge the traditional linear change approaches and provide fresh insights on emergent thinking of organic versus linear change.
The second part of the evening sees Gill Perry, UK CMI Country Co-Lead, provide insights into some of the recent changes within the CMI itself and how our CMI body has managed its own transition and the new branding, new corporate membership offering and new accreditation approaches – that can benefit your own development and that if your organisation.
