Technology Investment – Liability or Liberator? (London, UK)
Targeted investment in technology can rapidly change the way a business operates so what role can and should Change and Transformation managers play to ensure the investment liberates innovation and drives employee engagement?
So how do organisations invest in technology without falling foul to self-created disruption and inefficiency and what role should Change and Transformation managers play?
The London Chapter are proud to welcome Paul Saunders and Byron Shirley of Black Penny Consulting along with City and Guilds Chief Information Officer, Alan Crawford as we discuss the practical steps Change and Transformation leaders can take in helping organisations choose the right technology, with a focus on end users whilst talking in a language the board members can align and support.
During the session, Paul and Byron will cover the criticality of understanding organisational challenges and pairing that with technology investment. In particular they will look at how Change Managers can build a case for the right investment in technology and how you talk a language that board members can align and support.
Moving on Alan will reflect on his experience in leading a technology team, how his role is changing to support the business through rapid deployment of technology as well as supporting and enabling his peers, employees and customers to adopt new practices - fundamentally becoming a change leader and advocate in the process.
We will round the session off with a panel debate with questions from the audience before breaking for networking.
