Creating Cultures of High Readiness for Change (London, UK)
The idea that we can be in truly scientific about the percentage of change efforts that fail overall is probably somewhat of a myth. However, as change practitioners, you will know that change is so often handled so badly! When change has been handled poorly, if we look retrospectively at the leadership culture of the organisation in question, it is actually no surprise. The same is true for change that has been handled well.
Therefore, to be truly successful in handling it, we need to focus on the day-to-day leadership behaviours that either create or stifle a culture of readiness for change in our teams. This workshop will describe the findings of 20 years of research into the simple, common-sense behaviours that the most effective leaders enact everyday which means their people are ready and willing to embrace innovation and change on an ongoing basis, and that positive change is sustained.
The following components essential to cultures of successful, sustained change are covered at this event:
- Effective leadership approaches to enable successful change;
- Day-to-day behaviours to create a culture of ‘readiness for change’;
- How to enable people to be innovative in their work;
- Effective leadership styles for embedding positive change at all levels of management.
