A bit more about us

Our members shape the chapter agenda and suggest relevant topics for future sessions. Some of the themes we are working on include delivering enterprise wide change in a collaborative world, creating meaningful & purposeful change, building change resilience and using NLP in order to communicate about change more effectively.

The vision for this Chapter is to bring people together and run interesting, thought provoking and engaging events. We will share learning and knowledge virtually as well as through face to face events.

Chapter leadership

Amy Tarrant, Co-Chapter Lead

Amy has been involved with the Change Management Institute for a little over 2 years, having met the co-founder Melanie Franklin on an Agile training course she delivered to one of her clients. Amy volunteered to establish a South East Chapter in July 2018 and is excited at the possibilities there.

By day Amy is a freelance consultant to London and Lloyd’s market insurers. She has worked in the sector for 12 years and surprisingly passionate about it! The quirks of the sector keep her on her toes and the ever-increasing focus on cost reduction creates significant opportunity for transformational Change.

Amy is Agile, MSP and Prince2 certified and when not working she spends her time exercising and doing yoga.

Wayne Knox, Co-Chapter Lead

Wayne first got involved with the Change Management Institute in 2014 in Sydney, where he was living at the time, and has volunteered since 2017. He looks after the Members Webinar Programme for the UK and is excited to continue helping fellow practitioners across the South East chapter.

In day-to-day life Wayne works for Teneo, a Strategic Communications Consultancy, having worked within large change teams for a number of Financial Services organisations previously.

Wayne likes to use Agile practices in a lot of his work and help people grow their capability around change in an agile context, as well as build a better broader understanding of organisational change management.

Wayne believes sharing stories and experiences will help advance the change industry across the UK, so speak to Wayne about anything change related if you need help.
