The Change Management Institute Victorian chapter aims to inspire excellence and ensure you have the means to reach your career goals. Whether you are after new thinking, a mentor, or looking to have your practices independently assessed and endorsed – we are here to help you.

Our members are professionals from government agencies, corporations, not-for-profit groups and professional consultancies. Members may be at different stages of their professional careers, so we mutually support one another to meet common goals.

By joining you get to engage with us locally at events, build your networks and access the global thinking and white papers available exclusively to members. There are plenty of learning and development opportunities available for all learning styles too!

About us

We are an active Committee who mirror our membership. Our backgrounds are diverse but we have a common objective to grow capability and credibility of the profession through connecting likeminded people.  We organise and facilitate a mixture of topical Professional Development Events, informal networking opportunities, breakfasts, dinners, showcase and webinar events and more.

We are well supported with corporate memberships and local partnerships with local professional institutions. Our focus is always on adding value to our CMI membership base. Please join the conversation with us and others through our LinkedIn Groups – Global, Australia and Victoria for more information about the Change Management Institute, as we collectively challenge, explore and support topics of interest, post job notices and encourage discussion boards.

Join our Event Alerts to keep in touch with the events we organise. If you are interested in contributing to the work of the Committee, please contact the Victorian Chapter via email.

Chapter leadership

Denice Bennett-Rae - Chapter Co-Lead

Denice has over 10 years’ experience leading project and change programmes in a variety of sectors including manufacturing, technology and professional services.  She is a strong leader who has a natural confidence and presence within an organisation.

Denice is passionate about empowering people to do the best job possible during times of change.  She does this by ensuring stakeholders always understand the ‘why’ behind any change initiative and by fostering a positive culture within the team.

In late 2018 Denice assumed responsibility for organising the Victorian chapter Deep Dives and has been instrumental in ensuring their ongoing success since. She is excited to be playing a role in continuing to move the Victorian chapter and change community forward into the new decade.

Anja Hennig - Chapter Co-Lead

Anja leads change across transformation programs in a range of industries including financial services, life sciences, utilities and government. With 10 years’ experience in transformation and change she brings a people centred, pragmatic and holistic approach to her work.

She looks beyond a fixed set of tools and techniques to determine what is really needed to achieve tangible results and to create a sustainable difference. Anja embraces nimbleness, responsiveness, flexibility and speed to make change successful in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.

Anja is passionate about life long learning, collaboration and enabling others. In 2019, she established the CMI Victoria mentoring program and looks forward to more connections, learning and an amazing community in 2020.
